Day 62: Saturday 11th May

Lovely night out last night watching Sibling 1 and his crew perform.

Heed The Thunder

The venue was excellent - a re-claimed conservative club. Tory-ness seeping through the red paint on the walls. The music was great, as expected. Mr 1957 enjoyed it too, along with his 3 pints of shandy, and my 3 glasses of lime cordial and water! Each round cost either £2 or £3 depending on who was serving behind the bar! Excellent.

A rainy drive home after dropping off friend, and managed to arrive with 2 minutes to spare before Auntie S and myself both turned into pumpkins!

Sleep was tricky to achieve as I knew I had to wake up to hand over the keys to the Skoda for it's medical test and service. So I gave up at 5am and began another crochet project (like I need a new one!) - flying in the face of all the 'Works In Process' that I really should finish off.

C1 and C2 were brilliant last night, according to Auntie S. This cheers me immensely, as I don't go out when it is dark, and without them, very often, and to know that they don't put the fear of God into the 'babysitter' is reassuring, especially as I would like to be able to go out more than 4 times a year!

The sun is trying to shine, which bodes well for the weekend 'school uniform' washing marathon. Nothing worse than having wet clothes hanging around all over the place. (Well, actually, there are thousands of things WORSE than this, but it is a figure of speech).

Looking forward to a nice relaxing day. Er....... C1 shopping trip, C2 sleepover, car bill, cat fight, trampoline (need I say more) and C1 NOT being involved in younger sibling's fun times tonight. 

I predict a riot.
