Day 55: Saturday 4th May

Yep! Bike-riding can be dangerous.

Lovely day out riding The Peregrine Way from

Symonds Yat to Monmouth.

Fell off my bike 5 minutes into the ride.

I have to add, I fell off silently, rolled around on the

forest floor, grazed both knees and my right hand, got

up, straight back on, and completed the whole 12

miles without too much whining!

Please note the 'graze-hole' on the right knee of my Lycra!

The knees were sore and seizing up, but not a moan.

The area is so beautiful, it took my mind off it all in an

instant.

Felt good.

Back for another cuppa and some diary-examining.

Further excursions involving bicycles, countryside,

possible camping and other health-giving pursuits

 thought about.

Have plans for fence-painting, weed-killing, seed

planting and pricking out tomorrow, before collecting

C1 and C2.

Now where is that horse liniment?
