Well it's past midnight, so officially counts as Day 53 in my book!
No bike ride today, thanks to the usual suspects who always close my lovely friend Shazza's children's school for Polling Day, and we can't practice our wheelies and backies with an audience!
Instead, I will be spending the morning with Mummy and Daddy again, allowing some shopping time for my mum and some chat/crochet/cajoling with my dad.
The meeting about C1's school activity holiday was informative and a little worrying, as it now appears that I may have to purchase a sleeping bag, some water-shoes, and some non-jeans. With 120 children going over the week, I should think that the mud and mess at the site by Friday will be awesome. C1 will be delighted.
Yesterday I completed the Aston Villa Mimsy for someone, who will be pleased when she sees it, I hope.
I will be dropping off the AVM with her at 4:30pm tomorrow, then dropping off C1 and C2 with BabyDaddy, then collecting all our camping stuff from Mrs Fisherman's lawnmower garage. I hope we will be using it in the very near future.
There was a nugget of a plan for me for this weekend, which has now had to be adjusted as it appears that I have the children back on Sunday evening instead of Monday morning. I don't get much free time without them, so the idea of a couple of nights away seemed like a wonderful opportunity.
Never mind, my time will come, all too soon, when they are out of my nest and doing their own thing.
Thursday will be completed by the 6-monthly visit to the dentist for C1 and C2. Something I insist on. If only to allow them to hoard more Happy stickers!
