Day 37: Tuesday 16th April

Oh happy day.........

C2's laptop is now fixed thanks to a very nice man, who, in exchange for a fiver, and a minor deal-ette where I proof-read his 'laptop protection guide' and email him some kind and gentle feedback, has repaired, fixed, warned and made good. Roblox will be returned to the building!!!!!

The driving business went a little better today. Good job, as I had 2 small people on board, and an appointment with Mr Headmaster when I got there.

The tummy-pulling/griping/burping situation is not much improved.

Sorry...
I have gone with the professional advice I got last week from Bariatric K, and purchased a litre of soya milk.

And some chewable calcium + vitamin D, and some liquid iron.

Hoping for some miraculous intervention now, and a boost in energy, calories and personal strength.

As it is C2's 8th birthday in 2 days time, I am preparing myself for the delivery of cards, possibly gifts, and other day-of-birth paraphernalia, by making a den for hiding any deliveries. He will be so excited on the day, and to find cards, the odd balloon, a birthday cake and maybe a couple of parcels when he gets downstairs on 'THE DAY' - he will be beside himself.

C2 will also be receiving a token gift in honour of the fact that she is his big sister, was here first, and has not caused him any serious damage over the last 8 years.

The food diary is looking pathetically empty - I am considering making up some entries, but will resist.

Yesterday:

Mashed banana - half; hummus - 2 tablespoons; the other half of the mashed banana; a mug of Bovril. 2 glasses of water - sipped; 1 slice of roast chicken, pureed with a leaf of well-cooked cabbage, a spoonful of mashed potato, and some Bisto.

Today:

Half a mashed banana; 1 glass of soya milk; 2 teaspoons hummus; 1 glass of soya milk; 2 tablespoons home-made lentil and tomato soup, 2 glasses of water - sipped.

Hummus
Mashed Banana
BORING, but no acid so far, less nasty hurty wee (not a greater quantity, but a slightly less unpleasant experience), and nothing else to show for it anywhere.

Weight loss is rapid and a little scary now. Since Day 1 I have lost 4 stone and 5 pounds off me, somewhere. This is over 37 days. Eeeek!

Managed to offload all the massive trousers to needier souls, but now am faced with 2 pairs of reasonably non-baggy strides, 2 pairs of lycra leggings, pyjamas and some 'garden-only' shorts.
