Woken at 2am by a vomiting cat sitting on my chest. Lovely. Clearing up what appeared to be a hairball was a total delight.
The noises F-B1 made were reminiscent of an apocalyptic life-threatening explosion. Could've been worse, I suppose.
But managed to get back to sleep, until my first new alarm woke me up ridiculously early to tell me to eat something non-dairy and not too mushy.
Considering that my diet has consisted of mainly yogurt, milk, and more yogurt since the end of January, the choices in my head are very limited. I think I need a browse online for dairy-free 'mashable' recipes, and a chat with some of my lovely 'alternative diet follower' friends.
C1 is under the weather, so much so that she couldn't face going to cookery school - that is how I know that she really means it. Slow chilled sleepy day for her today. With a lot of social networking.....
Having cancelled the cookery school and Auntie K, am now setting my sights on a successful arrival of SJA and Auntie K tonight, so that I can exercise my piano fingers.
Looking forward to seeing my friend Fownz tomorrow. She has bagged the sofa for the night, on her whistle-stop tour of old haunts in the midlands.
I may enlist her help in getting C1 and C2 back into the land of 'sensible bedtime' in preparation for their return to school on Monday. Things have got a little lax around here, due to the holiday mood and my being more than a little floppy! Lighter nights do not help at all!
