Friday again - have a houseful of small people, all behaving fantastically, and my lovely laid-back friend Fownz drinking tea and giving me advice on how to build an e-empire of crochet using website-building
software.
Personally, I am exhausted.
Had another call from my GP this morning, and he is writing me up another prescription for something to fix the annoying acid reflux.
He is also advising me on sipping water slowly all day rather than actually drinking a glass of water (in an effort to get the rehydration process working), to try to manage tiny amounts of more textured foods, but to continue to steer clear of any dairy products.
Then Bariatric K rang to let me know that due to the problems I am having, my appointment with the Bariatric Consultant has been brought forward a week.
After some loud discussion (aka mummy trying to lay down house rules) I vacuumed the house top to bottom yesterday.
I wish I hadn't.
Got a proper telling off from Bariatric K.
Easter holidays are nearly over.
My personal guilt-monster is working overtime - telling me what a crappy holiday C1 and C2 have had, what with me lying around knackered all the time, burping, dry-heaving, randomly sleeping, not being able to drive, and not going anywhere.
C1 and C2 have been little troopers, but I do realise that things have been somewhat grim. I wish they could have gone off to friends/family for play sessions, fun and frolics. This hasn't happened, though, so with 2 days left of holiday, I am racking my brains for some stuff we can do together that is:
1: not taxing for me
2: not expensive
3: fun
4: for the hell of it
Hoping for inspiration...
