Day 4 F-R: Thursday 14th March

Having a purple meanie kind of day today. Had to cancel my lovely friend Tressle last night as I came over all wobbly and went to bed at the same time as C1 and C2. Slept occasionally, but the achy legs came back, and stitches were hurting.

Perhaps I need to stop trying to man up, and take more painkillers more regularly?

Got out of bed at 2am, and retrieved un-read magazine from hospital bag (still unpacked!).

Fancy yourself as a farmer?

Reading about how I could try being a farmer for a day has made me feel tired. 

Sitting up in bed at 3am sucking on a frozen TipTop - maybe I have cracked the convalescence code!!!

Morning comes with mushrooms and tomatoes on toast (C1) and a weirdly attractive mix of every breakfast cereal in the house (C2). Calm rules this home. The school issue seems to be resolving again, and to cap it all, a pheromone-based thingy to plug into the wall has arrived, which I hope will stop the 3 furbabies from ripping up any more carpet..... *

*We'll see.........

Had a lovely visit from my friend ShazRonnie today - she has made me some beautiful and unique greetings cards - I am writing in them this afternoon.

For the lovely people who cared for C1 and C2 while I was 'away'...

For the wonderful Sarah who made sure that all 3 cats were fed and watered during my extended stay.
